Dr Siranthi Perera is a compassionate and dedicated General Practitioner committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals and families across all stges of life. Dr Siranthi obtained her MBBS in 2009 in Sri Lanka and gained extensive hospital-based experience, building a strong clinical foundation across a broad range of medical and surgical disciplines.
Prior to relocating to Australia in 2015, Dr Siranthi worked as an Anaesthetist in Sri Lanka, gaining valuable expertise in perioperative care, acute patient management, and multidisciplinary teamwork. This background has strengthened her clinical acumen and ability to manage complex presentations in general practice.
Dr Siranthi was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), further consolidating her commitment to excellence in Australian primary healthcare. She provides comprehensive, evidence-based medical care with a warm, respectful and collaborative approach.
Outside of medicine, Dr Siranthi enjoys fashion, cooking, travelling and spending quality time with her family and she is fluent in English and Sinhala.
Dr Siranthi has a special interest in Women’s health, Men’s health, Child and adolescent health, Chronic disease management, General medicine, Minor surgical procedures, Emergency medicine and Mental Health.
